김아중이 김 비서한테 그거 네 얘기지?? 할때 소름이 쫙~ 아중이 연기 많이 늘었구나ㅠㅠ 싸인 안보다가 보는데 재미있다ㅋㅋㅋ 싸이코 패스로 나오는 조연들이 너무 좋다~ 다 내가 좋아하는 조연들이야ㅋㅋ 차로 치어서 사람 죽였던 그 귀엽게 생긴 조연도 내가 눈여겨봤던 조연으로 파스타와 식객과 카인과 아벨에 나왔던 배우이다ㅋㅋ 매번 나올때마다 연기 잘한다고 칭찬을 아끼지 않았지ㅋㅋ 그리고 뒤에 임신한 자기 약혼녀를 죽인 사장에게 복수 했던... 그 안경쓴 배우도 카인과 아벨, 그리고 이승기와 한효주 나왔던 위대한 유산에 나왔던 배우다... 아빠가 그 배우 연기 잘한다고 칭찬 많이 했었다ㅋㅋ 그리고 이번에 시크릿 가든에서 김비서 또 싸이코 패스 역으로 나온다ㅋㅋ 편의점에서 일하는 거 봤을 때 넘 반가웠다ㅋㅋ 이분은 원래 비서 전문배우인데 영화 아저씨에서는 장기매매하는 악역으로 나왔었다... 아저씨에서 이 사람은 원빈이 의해서 스테이플러로 찍히는 고문을 당하다가 타 죽는다;;; 여튼 조연들 정말 멋지고 대단하다!!! 브라보!!ㅋㅋ

I just wanted someone who can comfort me

when I'm lonely.

And K said that it was dangerous to think that way because I might get hurt.

And she also said that it is too silly to feel lonely when I have such a good friends.

And she said that someone who say they are lonely actually enjoys that they are feeling that loneliness.

I know that was excuse for ignoring my text message.

How much effort do I need to comfort somone?

I just need to say that

Don't worry. I also have felt that way before.
But everything is going to be fine.

It dosen't take much time or money.

If I can comfort anyone with saying these words
I'll be willing to do that without any hesistitation.

It's not that I'm upset that she had ignored my message.
I just can't stand that she is using that kind of logic(which is rubbish) to justify herself.
If she ignored me because she didn't like me
that was fine with me
but if that was the reason behind what she did, I just can't forgive her.

By the way, I feel thankful for Rose
for listening to what I said.
Giving me comfort.

Les oiseaux vont mourit au Perou

I can't sleep.

I wish I could speak French.
I read a book "Les oiseaux vont mourit au Perou."(Birds go to Peru to die)
In Korean, of course.
There are 16 short stories in a book.
I couldn't pick favorite one.
But I liked "Un humaniste","Le faux","Le mur"
(An humanist),(The forged),(The Wall)

"The wall" was about a man die of broken heart as he felt miserable by the moaning sound of beautiful lady who was by the next room.
The wall between two room was really thin.
and the young man mistaken that the moaning sound was from sexual pleasure she had with some other man.
In fact the sound was from fatal pain; she was poisoning herself to death.
So the young man's death was tragedy of co-incidents.

The novel reminds me of lingering presense of death.
It was everywhere with me when I was at the school.
And when I heard that there was a lump in my stomach and it could be cancer.
Human's life can be so meaningless and light.
(Don't worry about the lump I've taken a surgury successfully and I'm fine now.)

I went to cocktail bar

I met my friends today
I went to family restaurant with Inoc, Heran,Soun.
Restaurant gave away free fried chicken while waiting for the line
There were many people in the restaurant.
so we wait for around thirty minute.
We had winter limited memu.
It was generally not bad.
Pasta was too spicy but salad was good.

Secondly,we went to cocktail bar.
I had pink lemonade.
I don't remember others'cocktail,
but Heran had a strong one.

Soun and Heran went to same girl university.
I forget about the fact and I asked them about ratio of male and female in their school.
They get miffed for a moment.
Then we burst into laughter.

It was good to meet them
But the wheather was too cold.
When we went out of the indoor we shivered a lot.
Once I even slipped and fall.The snow made the road slippery.

Inoc and Heran drank cocktail with alchol
Oc get slightly drunk and she spoke less
Heran was good at drinking, so she was fine.
As inoc get drunk we often fall into slience.
Then anyone that found the slience akward laughed
and we countinue talking.

Heran had new boyfriend.
Heran is nice-looking so it was not surprising to hear that they have boyfriend.

It was first time for me to go to cocktail bar.
It was a meaningful experience.
I also had valuable time with my friends.
It was unique to spend the end of the year with alchol and friends.
But I liked it anyway.

내게 있어서 진짜 블로그는
이 블로그가 아닌가 생각한다.
내가 또 네이버에다가 새로운 블로그를 만들었다.
정은준 때문이다.
네이버에 정은준과 이웃을 해놔서 매번 로그인 할때마다 그애의 글을 봐야했다
그애는 물론 매우 잘 살고 있고
항상그렇듯 적당히 이기적이고 편견에 찌든 채 살고 있다.
그애의 글이 새로 떠있는 것을 보기 싫어서 새로운 블로그를 만들었는데
왠지 오기가 생겨서 기존에 있던 블로그에다가
글을 올렸다
매우 생기 발랄한 내용이다.
매우 잘살고 있는 것처럼 명랑한 톤으로 글을 썼다.
뭐, 실제로도 잘살고 있긴하지만.
어쨌든 보란듯이 쓴 것이다.

왜 굳이 그렇게 했냐면,
예전에는 그 애는 이웃도 많고 내 글을 볼 확률이 적다고 생각했는데
최근에 들어서
내가 그애의 블로그를 기웃거린다면
그애도 내글을 볼 가능성이 있다는 생각이 들었다.

내가 내 프로필에 좋아하는 가수를 썼는데
그애가 그애의 태그에 써놓은 가수와 동일인물이였다.
물론 일부러 동일가수를 쓴 것은 아니고
(어짜피 그애가 내 블로그를 보지도 않을거라는 생각을 하고 있었기 때문에...)
어쩌다보니 좋아하는 가수가 겹친 것인데....
(뭐 그애나 나나 롹을 즐겨듣기 때문에 충분히 있을 수 있는 일이였다.)
그런데 최근에 그애의 블로그를 들어가 보니깐
그 가수의 이름이 태그에서 없어져 버렸다.

물론, 내가 그가수를 좋아한다고 썼기 때문에 그애가 그 가수의 이름을 지웠다고 단정하는 것은 너무 일방적이고 자기중심적인 생각일지도 모른다.
하지만 그애가 내 블로그를 봤을 확률이 그애가 아무런 조취(?)를 취하지 않고 있을때의 확률보다 더 많아지는 것 아닌가.

그런 생각을 하니깐 기분이 이상해져서
앞으로 정기적으로
나는 매우 잘살고 있다는 식의 블로그를(물론 실제로도 잘살고 있지만)
정기적으로 올려 볼까...
하는 생각을 하게 된다.

하지만 누굴 위해서 그런 짓을 하냔 말이다.
그년따위가 뭐라고...

아무것도 아닌 사람이다.

오늘 윤화를 봤는데
연대를 갔다고 연락을 끊은 친구가 있다고 하니깐
이해를 못하겠다는 표정을 지었다.
그런식으로 끊낼 인연이였으면
진작에 끊냈어야한다.

정말 만난것보다 못한 인연이다.

내가 예전에 속상해 하거나
지금 신경쓰여하는 것이 이상한 것이라고 생각하지 않는다.

내가 이상하냐 그렇지 않냐를 생각하니 갑자기 조재은 생각이 난다.
그래서 그애에게 문자를 보냈다.

걔가 만약에 대학이 잘 안됐다면 좀 염장 글일지도 모른다고 생각했다.
하지만 왠지 잘됐을것 같다.
원래 재수없는 애들은 더 잘나가더라구ㅋㅋ

나에게 충격과 배신감을 안겨준 정은준 조재은.

두고봐라
보란듯이 잘살테다!!!

좋다.
그런 정신으로 이악물고 살아야지.

게이샤의 추억

게이샤의 추억은 정말 기분 나쁜 영화였다.

화려한 영상도 영화에 깔려 있는 찜찜한 전제에 빛을 잃었다.

기본적으로 여자가 아무리 게이샤라고 해도 너무 수동적으로 그려지는 것이 기분나빴다.

게이샤의 궁극적인 목적은 후한 후원자를 잡아서 한평생 잘먹고 잘사는 것이다.

그리고 결과적으로 게이샤는 부, 명예를 갖고 있는 욕구불만 남자들의 노리개혹은 장난감 그 이상도 이하고 아니다.

게이샤와 남자는 절대로 동등한 위치에 설 수 없다.

게이샤가 아무리 매혹적인 자태로 남자를 홀린다고 해도

기껏 해봤자 그(녀)들이 할 수 있는 것은 몸값을 올리는 것이 고작아닌가.

왕귀비같이 왕을 이용해 야욕을 갖고 정치에 뛰어들 수도 없다.

그리고 주인공 게이샤에인 유리코에게 엄청난 특권처럼 주어지는 첫 사랑의 후원.

그것도 웃기다.

끝에 결국 유리코의 후원자가 되는 남자가 다른 남자들과 차별돼는 것은 유리코가 여전부터 남자를 좋아했다는 사실과 자신의 친구때문에 유리코한테 무레하게 치근덕대지 않았다는 건데.

그래서 그게 뭐 어쨌다는 건가?

그남자도 결국 유리코를 욕정의 대상정도로만 생각 했을것이 아닌가?

그래 솔직하게 터놓고 말해서 사랑과 성욕이라는 것은 떼놓기 어려운 것인 건 사실이다.

하지만 그래도 남자와 유리코가 애틋하게 입맟추며 끝나는 엔딩은 찜찜하다

그것은 만화 나나에서 노부가 "사랑은 욕망으로 밖에 이뤄질 수 없는 것일까"에 대해
신이 "미안해요, 그것은 나도 알 수가 없어요"
라고 말했을때의 씁슬함을 남겨둔다...

그러니깐 내가 그 엔딩을 싫어하는 것은

게이샤에대한 사회의 제도가 정당하지 못하지만

남자주인공은 그 제도의 틀이 허락하는 테두리 안에서만 그녀를 가질려고하고 있고

그런식의 소유는 다른 무식했던 여타남자들이 그녀를 가질려했던 모습과 별반 다를 바 없으며

남자 주인공이 별반 다른 조취(예를 들어서 그녀를 정식 안사람으로 만든다던지.)를

취하지 않는 것 자체가 그녀의 존재가치나 그녀에대한 사랑의 모욕이라는 생각이 든다.

그런 것에대해서 아무런 문제의식도 갖지 않는 것이 화가나는 것이다.

고작 경제적인 후원이 한 여자, 게이샤에대한 소유권이 된다는 것이말이다.

게이샤는 한여자이고 사람이고 그들에게 사회가 제한하는 것 보다 더 큰것을 갖을 수도 있는데.

후원자에게 사랑을 바래서도 않되고 남자의 영역인 정치와 경제에도 관여하면 안돼고, 안정적인 생활을 누릴 수 있다면 감지덕지이고...

I feel relieve about the fact that I don't have to study CSAT.

I'm finally going to university!

Things are little complicated and I can't be completely either happy or certain about entering the Kyemung university.

but it's better than any other alternatives.

I decided to go to Kyemung University because

It offers wide range of exchange student program to oversea

It offers scholarship.Most of economical support is provided by the university. They even provide the meal package for free.

Most of the class that I'll be attending will be done in English.

Kyemung university also have beautiful campus.It has often been the background of many Korean movies and dramas.
Korean version of Hana yori dango(liu xing hua yuan) has also flimed in Kyemung University.

One drawback the University has is that it is far away from my house
and the other is that it doesn't have high name-value in Korea.

Going to a university that is ranked below top10 means that lots of adversity and difficulty will awaits in one's life.

70% of Koreans go to university.
Unlike other nations such as France and Germane where only small portion of population goes to university,it really matters to people what university they are from.
All the universities are ranked distintively.
In practical points of view, it matters more because large number of population goes to university.
For example, in Japan, only 55% of people go to university while in USA only 40% do.

But in more practical points of view, it raises question wheather it is neccesary for such a large portion of people in Korea to go to university at all.I'm saying this because desire for higher education only foster more competition at the expense of more important values.

This kind of "hierchy system based on the education degree" is much more rigid than other countries.

Kinds of school that people came from greatly affects the not only choice of the job people have but also evaluation of people's ability after the work.

Some immature people directly look down on those from "bad" school and others become condenscending.

It's important factor that can't be denied when living in Korea.

This means that people who graduated the school with low name-value will have to suffer from prejudice and discrimination regardless of the real ability they have.
They have to work extra hard in order to success in thier work.

Many people nowadays points out that it is unfair. Yet, its like...long-lasted tradition in Korean society and its hard to change.

This also means that as Korean, I have to follow it no matter how much I dislike it.
That's what society want from me.
I believe that people will care less about such as the society gets more mature.

No matter how much I compain about unfairness of this practice, if I'm not from the top-notched university, people will just regard it as inferiorty-complex.I have to be on the top of the hierarchy in order to criticise it.

I'm planning to take CSAT- Korean national college qualification exam that took place only once a year.

It is something similar to SAT-the higher score you get, better school you can get in

But it's more risky because it takes place only once a year. In addition, there more required subjects and it's Math is way more tougher than SAT.

So...It's sad but...
I could use computer because I had a lot of chance to use computer while I'm studying toefl-There are many times that I had to do lot's of googling in English and look up Wikipidia.

but since I'm start studying CSAT, I'll not have eaiser access to computer.
I don't think I'll be able to visit this blog often.

I'll miss this blog.

I'm being pessimistic.

This is mainly because my life has been extremely gloomy for at least 5 or 4 years.

Ever since I coming back from Singapore, lots of thing happened.

I witnessed and experienced lots of nasty things.

Some Koreans, they really believe that life is all about fittest of survival.

And really fierce competition takes place in here.

Nobody is hardly happy because they are always heading to be the best, and only few does.

And those who 'left out' feel sense of deprivation

They are always stressed out.

It's almost impossible for people to be leninet or insightful when they are overly stressed-It's a human nature.

People become really short-sighted and narrow-minded.

They use strict criterion to judge people and give harsh remarks about others when they don't meet their expectation.

They become really strict to human, except for themselves.

I can't just run away from here.

I have to overcome it somehow.

But how?

I don't know.

I'm thinking about leaving this place.

But how???

I screwed up the interview in Waseda.
Professor didn't seem to like my answers.
There isn't much hope.

but even if I get in there,
There is no guarantee that life in Waseda would be different from Korea.

Traditionally, Waseda is known to have lots of Korean students.

Hmmmm....maybe I'm being overly pessimestic.

I just cannot even concieve the idea of studying another one year.

I hope I could fully explain my feeling in English.

사실, 인터뷰읽고 좀 깨서 예전처럼 막 호감이가고 너무 멋지다는 생각이들지는 않는다

너무 자아도취가 심해서 거부감이든다..;;;

좀 지나친 자신만의 세계를 구축하고 있달까??

내 성격상... 인기가 너무 많은 연애인한테는 호감이 없어지는 그런 성격이라서ㅋㅋㅋ

NANA에서 SHIN역을 맡았을때 신이 만화책에서 튀어나온 것 같았던....

수려한 미모의 소유자...

요즘 자니스중에서 이렇다할 미모가 없는데...(쟈니스 팬이 들으면 팔짝 뛰겠지만....아직까지 쟈니 팬인애들 보면 이해가 잘안간다...;;;우리나라 연애인중에 꽃미남에 미소년들이 널렸는데;;;;예를 들어 FT라든가..;;;FT팬은 아닌데 정말 샤방샤방하더라ㅋㅋㅋ)

오히려 비非쟈니스계에서 미소년들이 많이 눈에 보인다....;;;

쟈니할배 요즘 뭐하는거야~!!

분기점의 그녀에서 나왔을때만해도 눈에 훤칠하게 생겨서 뜨겠다는 생각이들었는데 좀처럼 뜨지 못하고 있는배우ㅠㅠ들리는 말로는 소속사가 약하대나 뭐래나;;;;
하지만 그대신 차곡차고 조연을 많이해서
찌질한 역부터 멋진역까지 다 잘 소화하고 있다ㅋㅋ
언젠간 뜨겠지...(먼산)
요즘 인연의 연에서 촘 얼빵하고 착한, 원수의 아들로 열연중이다...
거기서도 역시 약간 찌질한데....;;;어쩔;;;;너무 잘어울려ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ

현아가 좋아하던 녀석이다

현아가 좋아할 땐 별로 매력을 못 느꼈는데

라스트 프랜즈 보면서 선한 눈망울이 맘에 들었다...

한때 츠마부키 사토시를 좋아했을때와 비슷한 부류의 호감이 느껴진다.

뭐...일종의 신뢰감이랄까....ㅋ 실제 성격은 전혀 어떤지 모르겠지만;;ㅋㅋㅋ

현아가 좋아했을때는 뭔가 위와같은 이미지였다... 초점이 흐리고...자다 깨서 좀 부스스한....멍~한 이미지;;;;

노다메 칸타빌레에서 엄청 까부는 역활이였는데 꽤 귀여웠다ㅋㅋ

나만의 뚜렷한 행로를 남기는 사람이 되고 싶다. 그냥 서 있는것만으로도 강하게 존재감을 풍기는 그런 사람이 된다면 좋겠다.

내가 끊임없이 무엇이 되고싶다, 어떤 사람이 되고싶다고 생각하는 것이 심리학적인 문제가 있는 것일까 하는 생각이 문득 들었다. 원래 모든 사람은 지금 자기의 모습과 다른 모습의 내가 되기를 갈망하는 것일까, 아니면 사람마다 조금씩 정도의 차이가 있고 내가 조금 과한 것일까? 나는 항상 지금과 다른 내가 되기를 원했다. 조금 더 이쁘고 조금 더 밝고 유쾌하며 조금 더 공부를 잘하고 뛰어나기를 끊임없이 원해왔던 것 같다. 그런데 내 자신의 모습이 그렇게 마음대로 바뀌는 것이 아니라서 현실 속의 나와 환상 속의 나 사이에는 항상 따라잡을 수 없는 깊은 괴리가 있기 마련이었다. 내가 자신감이 결핍되어 있기 때문인지도 모른다. 높은 자긍심과 자존감은 나의 단점까지도 나의 모습으로 수용하고 사랑할 수 있게 해준다고 하였다.

진정으로 나 자신을 사랑한다는 것은 어떤 다른 사람이 되고싶은것이 아니라 지금의 나를 진정으로 사랑하면서 조금더 깊고 세련되게 가꾸어 나가는 것이란 것을 잊지 말아야지. 더불어 미래의 더 나은 모습을 위해 지금을 희생하는 것이 아니라, 순간순간을 가슴으로 느끼며 진심을 다해 즐겁게 살아가야 한다는 것을 기억해야지.

I never liked school teachers.

They are often either overly self-absorbed or indulgent and apathatic

And worst of all they had no love toward the students.

All they cared about was stable position and regular salary they had as official teacher.

No passion for teaching

No care for thier students.

That's all about Korean school teachers, as long as I remember.

Korean education system reminds me of the Japanese movie"Battle Royale"

In the movie, students in a class are send to an island to engage in a real-survival-game.

It was organized by the offical in Japanese government...
They says that it is a project which will effectively englighten students, that are already getting out of adult's control, commiting too much crimes.

But it rather seems to be form of revenge rather than discipline

The class is chosen randomly,
all the students in the class are asked kill each other, until the last one survive.

So, classmates start killing each other.

Trusted friends turn out to be enemies overnight. They start to stab a knife, drip in poison and aima gun at each other.

When I told a Canadian teacher about the movie

he said that he could not see what the movie was trying to say.

He though it was silly.

I couldn't blamming him for not understanding it.

He have never experienced being in 'Battle Royale'

The Fact is that people really can be really cruel when they are in such an extreme condition.

I have seen best friends hating each other for having higher score than one another.

Such thing really takes place in real life.

I-as an Korean student- experienced it everyday, ever since I was in third grade in elementary school.

students in Korean are ranked by their scores since they are nine.
They are "good student" when they score high in the test and vice versa
and those who 'lost' in the exam are abandoned.
Some students that cannot stand this condition choose to flee to oversea.

It is really unbearably cruel to evaluate students solely by their grades.

It is just like telling students ; what you have scored is how important you are.
but students themselves get so accustomed to their circumstance that they do the "sorting" by themselves
They show great respect to student who have high score and sneer at those who do poorly.

but people who are in the first place are also envied by others.

Involving heated competition at early age means that children learn about jealousy and inferiority complex and all the ugly feeling people could feel.

It's needless to mention that there are no opportunity for them to have well-rounded education.
They may have lots of knowledges but they never know about true value of life.

It is just so dull to imagine a society full of adults who are grown up in such way.

But that is what Korea is now.

I see no future.

and I'm sick of it.

예전에 현아가 말했다
가끔 자기는 자기가 트루먼쇼의 주인공이 아닐까 의심스러워 질 대가 있다고

그래서 나는 트루먼쇼의 주인공이라면 차라리 잘 된 거라고

주인공이니깐 언젠가는 행복해질 수 있지 않겠냐고 말했다.

나도 내가 사는 현실이 가끔은 가상이기를 바랄때가 있다.

현실이 아니고 꿈을 꾸고 있는것이길 바라곤 한다...

일반적으로 힘들 때 그런 생각이 들겠지.

뭐 결론적으로,

현아와 나의 문제는 영화를 너무 많이 봤다는 거...ㅋㅋ

가끔은 솔직하게 화내고, 짜증도 내고 자기감정을 다 드러냈던 현아가 그립다.

진짜 친구는 그런 거라고 생각하는데...

그런게 친구라면 난 확실히 친구가 없는 것이다.

하지만 현아도 이제는 변했을 것 같다.
내가 그애하고 연락을 끊은 시점도 걔가 자기 감정을 숨기는 법을 익히기 시작했을 때 부터였다.

현아따위가 그리운건 아니겠지...

그냥 아무리 현아처럼 형편없는 친구도 좋으니깐

속을 다 털어 놓을 수 있는 친구가 필요한거다.

그리고 솔직히 이현아보다는 해리가 더 그립다...

별은 내 가슴에Star in my heart-I was six when I saw this, I waited every week to watch this drama. It was just so romantic. Typical-cinderella story but well written.Oh, the heroin in this show just died few weeks ago. She commit suicide-she hanged herself in her bathroom. What a pityㅠㅠ

커피프린스1호점Cofee Prince- it was really sweet in the start till epi 15. I stopped watching it after it because story procrastinated a bit. But overall atmosphere of this Drama was simply lovely.So I include it in the list.

아일랜드Island- I couldn't watch all of it but I like every actor and actress shown in this Drama. It is also written by popular scripter. The character speak in unique way...It is a pity such tone and nuance of voice can not be easily translated in English or any other languages.

소울메이트Soule mate-It is a sitcom. But it is more like Drama. It descripes how man and woman's mood swings as they love one another. Very persuasive and touching.

Anima and animus, Carl Jung's school of analytical psychology, both one's "true self" as well as the masculine side of a female's unconscious mind; contrasted with anima for males.
Carl Jung believed that we each have within us both male and female qualitites, which together comprise the totality of who we are. The animus is the archetype in a woman that represents her male alter ego. It is the personification of the masculine qualities in a woman's psyche. These qualities may include rationality, authority, objectivity, initiative, courage, conviction, action, aggression, and brutality. The animus has been described as producing opinions, in contrast with the anima, which produces moods.

The anima and animus draw their power especially from the collective unconscious, but they are also conditioned by a person's individual experiences. They therefore have three components:
an innate, unconscious "predisposition for imaging contrasexually" (Wehr 64)—the feminine/masculine archetypes
images and symbols of femininity/masculinity culturally transmitted through mythology, art, fairy tales, religions, etc. (themselves heavily influenced by the archetypes)
personal experiences of the opposite sex
Symbolism in Dreams and Narratives: a peer figure of the opposite sex to the ego-bearer to whom he/she has a strong and compelling tie or bond (often a lover, brother/sister, soul-mate). Jung said that the animus is more likely to be personified by multiple male figures, while the anima is frequently a single female.
Anima Projection: The unindividuated man identifies with those personal qualities that are symbolically masculine; he develops these potentialities and to some extent integrates their unconcious influences into his conscious personality. However, he does not recognize qualities that are symbolically feminine as part of his own personality but rather projects them onto women. He will project his anima—those particular characteristics and potentialities that are significant components of his personal unconscious and therefore carry a special emotional charge—onto a few women for whom he will then feel a strong and compelling emotion (usually positive but occasionally negative). In the words of Jung, "[J]ust as the anima of a man consists of inferior relatedness, full of affect, so the animus of woman consists of inferior judgments, or better, opinions." Anima/Animus Integration: We can avoid anima/animus possession and withdraw projections by integrating the contrasexual archetype into consciousness, realizing we are cutting off our human potential by recognizing and developing only those symbolic qualities that match the sex of our bodies. In the words of Demaris Wehr, the anima leads a man "into unexplored depths of feeling, relationship, and sensitivity. . . . the integrated animus leads a woman into the world of the spirit, erudition, and the power of the word" (66-67). Integration of the Anima/Animus is often termed Androgyny. It is symbolized in narratives through achievement of a special bond (frequently sexual union/marriage) between the ego-bearer and the anima/animus figure.

This is a theory implied in one apisode in Skins.

Korean is the language that I use in my mind and...

Actually, I don't really exactly speak in my mind, images and feelings just naturally emerge in my mind.

But when I use languges, first language I use is Korean...well...most of the time...

So i was really utterly lonely yesterday and the day before.

But then... Now I'm all right.

With all my friends and family by myside

I felt less...I solated.

I'm going to private language academies (that is the name used in Korea)... or English tuition center...It is locates in almost center of Souel.

It is in Ap-gu-jung street and this is place where they have lots of salones that Korean Actors and Stars patronize.

It is really quite in the morning and noon

and It gives the impression of emptiness and...bleakness

So when you walk along the streets in It can make you to feel really ....I can't find the expression....lonely?

And when it comes to academy,
I think people gets closer as they do group studying.
But I'm in the class where people no longer need to do group studying.

So I really feel lonely

and Koreans are a bit offensive and always like to be in group.
So I make effort to not to do anything conspicious. So that i can bland into crowds

People in other country (except for Japan ...maybe) will never understand this- but things can turn out to be really tiresome when you get out of other's eye when every one is in group except for me.

So I feel pretty isolated and lonely.

Shin Eun-Bok is one of the artist who lived the Chosun Era in early 19c
He is a male artist but there is not much unformation on his personal background
His drawings were not properly evaluated during his life.
That was mainly due to the fact that he had overly enjoyed drawing pictures of young couples and daily life of yangban (elite groups in korea) which was regared as provocative and inapporpriate.
Confucism was the most valued principle during the Chosun era. Confucism emphasis on abstenence and morality. So any picture that inculdes woman and romance was deppreciated as Chun Hwa(pron??). For this reason, Eun-Bok eventually lost his job as an official painter(for drawing prons.)

Kim Hong-Do was another well-known painter who was contemporary with Eun-bok. As the one of the most talented artist of the century, he was the painter deeply beloved by the King, Jung-Zho. Hong-Do lived a very successful life which was both admired and respected by his contempories.

The "gust of wind in the picture frame" is the drama broadcasted in Korea.
And it is based on fictional assumption that this genius artist, Shin Eun Bok, was a female who have transformed herself into a man. And Hong-Do turn out to be the teacher of Eun-Bok in this Drama.

In Second Episode of this show Eun-Bok change into female's attire and sneak into the place that girls gather to wash thier hair with special herb, Chung-po...It is a Korean Traditional Custome to wash the hair and play swings this day of year is called Dan-Oh ( It is Korean Traditional Custom that is administered in UNESCO.)

The dominance of the richer nations and companies in the international arena has had a tremendous impact on agriculture, which, for many poor countries forms one of the main sources of income. A combination of unfair trade agreements, concentrated ownership of major food production, dominance (through control and influence in institutions such as the World Bank, IMF and the World Trade Organisation) has meant that poor countries have seen their ability to determine their own food security policies severely undermined.
Policies such as structural adjustment demanded by these institutions meant most developing countries had to not only cut back on health and education, but food stamps and other support for the very poor. Trade barriers and other support mechanisms for local industry were also often required to be removed, allowing foreign companies to more easily compete, often being at an advantage as they would typically be larger multinationals with more resources and experiences. By comparison, richer countries have hardly reduced their barriers in return. In addition, most poor countries were strongly encouraged to concentrate more on exporting cash crops to earn foreign exchange in order to pay of debts. This resulting reduction in biodiversity of crops and related ecosystems meant worsening environments and clearing more land or increasing fertilizer use to try and make up for this.
Increasing poverty and inequality thus fueled corruption making the problem even worse. Food dumping (while calling it aid) by wealthy nations onto poor countries, falling commodity prices (when many poor countries had to compete against each other to sell primarily to the rich), vast agricultural subsidies in North America and Europe (outdoing the foreign aid they sent, many time over) have all combined to have various effects such as forcing farmers out of business and into city slums. Meanwhile, crop biodiversity dwindled during the promise of the Green Revolution, which also increased chemical input, environmental degradation and felling of forests to bring more land into production.
Food security has reduced as a result and many countries are less able to do things if they want to. Holt-Giménez and Peabody are worth quoting again, this time on the impacts of concentrated ownership:
The expansion of industrial agri-foods crippled food production in the Global South and emptied the countryside of valuable human resources. But as long as cheap, subsidized grain from the industrial north kept flowing, the agri-foods complex grew, consolidating control of the world’s food systems in the hands of fewer and fewer grain, seed, chemical and petroleum companies. Today three companies, Archer Daniels Midland, Cargill, and Bunge control the world’s grain trade. Chemical giant Monsanto controls three-fifths of seed production. Unsurprisingly, in the last quarter of 2007, even as the world food crisis was breaking, Archer Daniels Midland’s profits jumped 20%, Monsanto 45%, and Cargill 60%. Recent speculation with food commodities has created another dangerous “boom.” After buying up grains and grain futures, traders are hoarding, withholding stocks and further inflating prices.

Genetically modified foods also increasingly came to be seen as a technical savior. If it worked, food could be grown with higher yields and in places where natural conditions are usually unfavorable. With increasing threats of climate change, it would seem this technology is potentially more important.
Yet, environmentalists from rich countries have raised concerns about the effect on nature if some GM varieties cross-breed with natural varieties, the effect on other aspects of biodversity etc. Technically, some have found that promised high yields are not always the case.
From developing countries the concern has been the ownership of this technology, typically private companies from rich countries. They have attempted to patent resources that developing countries have long used freely and tried to use techniques such as preventing farmers from keeping seeds for future years (which they naturally do) through “terminator technology” (which would appear to go against the claim of addressing world hunger).
These concerns go to the heart of food security and accountability to their own citizenry. In addition, what such technologies will not address, however, are the political, economic, social and environmental root causes and choices that govern what is grown, why, how it is priced, and why even when there is enough food, so many cannot afford it.
As professor Richard Robbins notes, food is a commodity:
To understand why people go hungry you must stop thinking about food as something farmers grow for others to eat, and begin thinking about it as something companies produce for other people to buy.

Much of the best agricultural land in the world is used to grow commodities such as cotton, sisal, tea, tobacco, sugar cane, and cocoa, items which are non-food products or are marginally nutritious, but for which there is a large market.
Millions of acres of potentially productive farmland is used to pasture cattle, an extremely inefficient use of land, water and energy, but one for which there is a market in wealthy countries.
More than half the grain grown in the United States (requiring half the water used in the U.S.) is fed to livestock, grain that would feed far more people than would the livestock to which it is fed.…
The problem, of course, is that people who don’t have enough money to buy food (and more than one billion people earn less than $1.00 a day), simply don’t count in the food equation.
In other words, if you don’t have the money to buy food, no one is going to grow it for you.
Put yet another way, you would not expect The Gap to manufacture clothes, Adidas to manufacture sneakers, or IBM to provide computers for those people earning $1.00 a day or less; likewise, you would not expect ADM (“Supermarket to the World”) to produce food for them.

This was the question that was asked in DongKuk University. And I have compeletly screwed it up.

That potbellied-male professor did not understand what I meant by "Fair Trade" and asked me about the melanine food in China.

I was irritated by his ignorance.

But then, I did not corrected his (stupid) question and I gave him rather monotonous answer, which sounded like much of the cliche

I feared that correcting his question will offense him.

But I think they could have read annoyance from my expression.

I did tried to hide it but at the very moment, I did frowned for a second.

BEIJING: The industrial chemical melamine is commonly added to animal feed in China to fake higher protein levels, state media reported Thursday, offering what appeared to be a tacit admission by the government that the food supply could be rife with contamination.
The Nanfang Daily said it was an "open secret" in the industry that melamine scrap is being repackaged into an inexpensive product called "protein powder" that is sold to food suppliers.
The Web sites of the official Xinhua News Agency and the Communist Party's main newspaper, the People's Daily, also carried the story in a rare step of publicizing information that reflects poorly on the country.
Safety scandals involving melamine contamination of dairy products and eggs in recent weeks have been further blows to the reputation of Chinese products, which have been under fire the past year since high levels of chemicals and additives were found in goods ranging from toothpaste to milk powder.
Four brands of Chinese eggs have been found tainted with melamine in a week, and agriculture officials speculated the source was adulterated feed given to hens.
No illnesses have been linked to eggs. But similar contamination of milk and other dairy products sent tens of thousands of Chinese children to the hospital and was linked to the deaths of four infants.
The milk scandal was blamed on dairy suppliers who added melamine to watered-down milk to dupe quality control tests and make the product appear high in protein. Melamine, a chemical used in the manufacture of plastics and fertilizer, is high in nitrogen, and most protein tests check a food product's nitrogen level.
Health experts say ingesting a small amount of melamine poses no danger, but in larger doses it can cause kidney stones and lead to kidney failure.
It is forbidden to deliberately add melamine to food and animal feed in China, but its apparent prevalence highlights the inability of authorities to keep the food production process clean of toxins despite official vows to raise safety standards.
The Ministry of Agriculture and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine did not respond to faxed requests for comment on Thursday's media reports. Phones rang unanswered at the Ministry of Health.
The Nanfang Daily said chemical plants used to pay companies to treat and dispose of melamine scrap, but about five years ago began selling it to manufacturers who repackaged it as "protein powder."
Initially, the inexpensive powder was used to give the impression of higher protein levels in aquatic feed, then companies started added it to feed for cattle and poultry, the report said, citing an unidentified chemical industry expert.
"The effect far more exceeds the milk powder scandal," the newspaper said.
The account was backed up by a manager reached by The Associated Press at a feed company based in central Henan province, but he added that the practice had been going on even longer than reported — some seven or eight years.
The manager, who refused to give his name or other identifying details, citing the sensitivity of the issue, blamed suppliers to feed companies.
"It's the suppliers who do it to raise the protein level, because we put in the contract a requirement for a certain level of protein," he said. "It's very common that feed for egg-laying hens contains melamine. The suppliers add it because their ingredients for the feed are sold at a low price."
He added that his company's contract with suppliers bans them from adding melamine to their products.
Marion Nestle, a professor of nutrition, food studies and public health at New York University, said it was unlikely humans would get sick from eating meat from animals raised on melamine-tainted feed, because the amount of chemical in a few servings of meat would not be harmful.
However, she added: "It shouldn't be in the food supply at all. It's fraudulent. And the animals really can't use it for nutrition, so it's not good for the animals."
Nestle, who wrote a book about last year's pet food scandal in which a Chinese ingredient tainted with melamine sickened and killed dogs and cats in North America, said she was surprised China's government was allowing the media to admit to widespread melamine contamination.
"I view this as a sign the Chinese government is taking the food safety problem very seriously and this is the first step to doing something about it," she said by telephone.
The tainted milk scandal was a blow to China's dairy industry. Shanghai-based Bright Dairy and Food Co. reported a net loss of $39.6 million in the third quarter, compared to a profit of $57 million in the quarter a year earlier, Xinhua said Thursday.
Two other major dairy companies, Mengniu Dairy Group Co. and Yili Industrial Group Co., saw sales plummet more than 90 percent after word spread of the contamination, Xinhua said.

and many Korean fans of House have booked the ticket to that festival.

Maybe that's because they are more patient and tenacious than I am;;

It is matter of personality.

Then I think I will never get accustomed to using this blog.

G-blog is so inconvinient in many ways compared to other blogs that is avaliable in Korean Portal sites.

If it were not for Rose, I would not have made this blog.

But then... Rose seems to be too busy to visit this site...

It is quite evident that writing dairy in English is not really helpful for improving English.

She did not console me in gentle manner but it was still comforting

So she is definitely only one that will spare some time to speak to me.

With all other friends(especially Eun Jun) being so busy, i can't really expect much from them.

It's not that I'm sulked by that or anything.

Because I do understand that this is really important time of thier life.

So, there is a new drama, starring Hyn-Bin and Hye-Kyo.
They are both well-known Korean Stars in northeast and southeast Asia.

It is written by one of the most outstanding Drama scripter in Korea.
노희경(noh hee kyung)- She is famous for displaying depict description of human life and speedy and elaborate speech in her work.

It is no surprise that her script is often regarded as an "art work"

This story is about what is taking place in Broadcasting Station.
It illustrates many daily encounter that we met as we work and get along with others.

So it is distinguished from other trendy Drama and Sopera in Korea.
And if people have expected some sweet romance from this drama they will definitely disappointed by relatively dull and serious tone of this drama.

Only two episode of this show have been put up and many people are looking forward to see the new Drama.

I just received the latest album of Travis. It was much better than my expectation. I saw some people said that Travis has become more daring in this album. Just as I have read I can see that their style has changed. Apparently, there is improvement in their styles. I did enjoyed it.

Then, I also bought Oasis’s new Album. I have not heard all of it but I guess I will take some time to get accustomed to Oasis…It has been so long since I have heard their music.

I have heard that Oasis is coming to Korea.
Few months ago Travis had visited Korea.
They played three곡 in a Music Festival.

요즘 브릿팝러쉬인가? 영국락 그룹들이 한국을 많이 찮는다.

Pride &Prejudice directed by Joe Wright

Recently , I've come to have interest in Jane Austen after watching "Lost in Austen"

I did read Austen's Pride and Prejudice when I was in middle school.

But by then I was too little to understand what was taking place in the story.

I could not really sympathize with the british women living in that era as I did not have any back ground about details of that particular period.

So I blatantly regarded the Pride and Prejudice as ordinary and monotonous romance story.

And I belived that the only reason the novel was regared as classic was because it was written long ago and it have depic decription of how the woman in that era lived.

It was not after I have watched "Becoming Jane" when I have come to learn about the real value of Pride and Prejudice.

It is strange that I did not realised it even after watching the "pride and prejudice reformed and directed by joe wright.

(But I guess I could indulge into "Becoming Jane" with ease because of James MacAvoy.)

There are three reason why I did not like it ;
1.When I was in middle school I was too engrossed into Kafka and Camus(realism and all).So I de-evaluated any kinds of Romance stories
2.I believe that Pride and Prejudice's main plot is about two sisters marrying a rich men, which seemed to be ridiculous.
3. Even though I found the character "Mr Darcy" charming, I could not associate Colin Firth with the Mr Darcy. And I knew little about the BBC drama, Pride and Prejudice. -So I did know about Colin Firth. I watched "the girl with pearl earing" and I was really enchanted by the Rambrant(or Colin Firth).

+I have heard that recently BBC filmed new version of Tess. Written by Tomas Hardy
Tess is one of the book that I hate the most.
And I'm still wondering why such book can be called as a Classics
but still, the movies made of Tess was always much better than its original version...

When Iwatched Skins
I DID know that it is not going to helpful for my English
But I somehow tried to make an excuse for myself.
So I told myself that watching the Drama will be condusive to learning English.
And anyway it was true that watching it enabled me to get accustomed to British accent.
But then, when it comes to improvement in English expression,
All I have learn from watching that drama was swearings, and more swearings...
And the word that I herd the most was"FU**"

So, today I have literally Fu**ed up my exam.
Oh fuck it-_-
I was supposed to going to major in English
and the professors in the interview was from English course
and what I told them was
Engllish may not be the dominating language in the future but Chineses is....
How unbearablly dumb and idiotic i was!!!!
I did not realised what I have said
before I have walked out of the interview room
Oh...
so I have compeletely ruined my interview;;;;;;;;

what does the M.D. supposed to mean??

I thought it was abbreviation of "Mad Doctor"

Ha ha...

Though House is definitely mad;;;

Mentioning it right on the title still doesn't make much sense.

I did not have much chance to meet who had watch this drama.

Season1 is focused more on Sid.
It shows how this indecisive but kind hearted(possibly) boy Sid be more independent from his friend Tony
and find another love other than michelle ,Tony's girlfriend.

but basically this Show is about how all the kids (Chris ,Sid, Tony ,Cassey, Jalenda ,Michelle, Max )deal with the harsh reality and grow up
All in all, it is a story about growing up

And most of the kid's don't have families with strong bond
Especially, fathers are depicted as complete jerk
but as the time goes by ,kids figure out a way to communicate
and understand thier parents
and depic description of this progress
is indeed touching.

So,at fist peek, their life seems to be all about sex and drug
but it turn out that sex and drug is only an escapes from the miserable and helpless reality that they are facing.
and they are somewhat damaged or empty inside
so as I watch this drama, I could sympathise and understand the kids.
